Northern Web was tasked with creating a dynamic, easy to use website that showcased student properties in and around Leeds.
The site had to be very usable with simple to understand navigation and multiple call to actions. The site had to speak to its target audience (students and prospective students) but still remain clean and professional, with the main subject matter (student housing) being the central piece.
There had to be multiple ways of capturing user data with the aim of putting together an opt-in mailing list. Northern Web included various ways of capturing data by offering an opt-in checkbox in every form on the site, asking if the user would like to be kept up to date.
Currently a user can post a property to their Facebook page and send it to a friend via email through a form on the website. In the future, Studentprops is looking to include other social platforms such as a blog, a Facebook "fan" page and a Twitter feed to post latest properties.
